Carl Brady

Governor Frank H. Murkowski appointed Mr. Carl Brady to the Board of Trustees of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation on January 31, 2003 for a term ending July 1, 2005. Mr. Brady previously served on the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation Board from 1991 though 1995 and served as Chairman from 1992 through 1993.

Mr. Brady has been an insurance executive in Anchorage since 1967. He is Managing Director of Marsh USA, and is Chair of the Board of Alaska Sales & Service. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Alaska Pacific University, and as a National Trustee of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where in he is also the Chair of the Northwest Region.

Mr. Brady serves on the boards of directors of Hickel Investments, Northern Air Cargo and the Alcom Civilian Advisory. He is a member of the Wells Fargo Bank Alaska Community Advisory Board. Carl Brady is also the Honorary Consul of Belgium and he co-chaired the American Heart Association's Heart Walk Fund Drive. In previous years, Mr. Brady has served as Chair of the Alaskan of the Year Committee, Director of the Salvation Army, Director of the Cancer Society Board, a Charter Member of the Aviation Hall of Fame, and numerous other for-profit and non-profit organizations. Mr. Brady is married to Pam Brady and has four children.
