Nancy Blunck
Nancy Blunck is a Certified Financial PlannerŪ and owner of Blunck Financial, an Anchorage-based financial planning and investment management firm. She had previously worked in public policy planning: at the Anchorage Borough as transportation planner, for the U.S. Interior Department on D-2 legislation implementation, and for the Alaska Public Forum, established by Governor Hammond to provide a neutral mechanism for public participation regarding the Permanent Fund. In that role, she traveled statewide to listen to Alaskans about the Permanent Fund, subsistence, and funding state government when oil revenues decline. Ms. Blunck earned her Bachelors degree from Iowa State University, her Masters degree from the College for Financial Planning. She cofounded the Aegis Group, a knowledge-sharing network of financial planning and management firms in eleven states. Ms. Blunck was appointed to the APFC board in September, 2007 by Governor Palin, for a four-year term.
