"Pick Click & Give" is spelled out in Alaska Statute 43.23.062. Representative Bill Thomas first introduced HB 166 which passed the 25th Alaska Legislature with the proviso that the legislation would only apply to dividends in 2009, 2010, and 2011. SB 171 passed in the 26th Alaska Legislature which made this legislation permanent. This is the third year of "Pick Click & Give."

"Pick Click & Give" is more propaganda meant to take the focus off how corrupt Alaska Permanent Fund Board is. Alaska Permanent Fund is worth more than $38,000,000,000.00 and the Board is not confirmed by Alaska Legislature so there is no level of accountability. Alaska Permanent Fund Board Confirmation Committee website is an effort to expose how corrupt the Board is. Alaska Legislators are so weak that rather than standing up to the Alaska Permanent Fund Board (APFB) and addressing how corrupt the Board is, they enacted "Pick Click & Give." What an insult to any semblance of fair play or accountability.

It is speculated that the money that has been spent on "Pick Click & Give" is almost equal to the amount donated by Alaskans to charities. The Rasmuson Foundation (which is really not a foundation but a mechanism of propaganda control of Alaskans) is largely behind this effort. "Pick Click & Give" is located at 161 Klevin Street, Anchorage, in the offices of Mr. Dennis McMillan, Executive Director, Foraker Group, which we understand is also funded by Rasmuson Foundation. There have been advertisements on television paid for by British Petroleum and Alaskans have received emails and flyers through the mail from non-profits and University of Alaska about contributing to "Pick Click & Give."
